This one day workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. During the course you will make a sterling silver pendant or earrings using the materials available to you on the day.
You will learn how to shape, texture and cut the clay with essential techniques to achieve a professional finish. Once you have made your design, you will learn to refine, torch fire and polish your piece; achieving the best results possible.
Every student will take away their completed masterpiece, a course manual and a certificate of attendance, as well as a solid foundation of skills in silver clay.
Kate Hunter has been making jewellery for over twenty years starting with traditional silversmithing and beading. She discovered silver clay over eight years ago and was won over by its versatility. Kate's endless patience, passion and willingness to share her knowledge with others make her an extremely popular teacher.
Workshop runs from 10am until 4pm and includes lunch at Orange Mabel Vintage Tearooms. We provide tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits throughout the day, and Prosecco at the end.
A warm welcome awaits you! For full details and to book please see www.jewelleryworkshops.co.uk.
